Daniel Valentin: NAIA Honest Janitor Returns OFW Money Worth P100,000

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport is now considered as one of the honest airports in the world after a series of reports regarding the returns of lost belongings to their respective owners after NAIA janitors found their items.

The latest addition to NAIA’s pool of honest janitors was identified as Daniel Valentin, the honest janitor who returned the wallet of an OFW from Dubai. The wallet which contained foreign currency equivalent to P100,000 was found by Daniel at the airport.

According to reports from ABS-CBN, the airport police have already identified the owner as Jerome Franco Biason, who boarded a taxi at NAIA on his way to a bus terminal bound for Tarlac.

The 42-year-old honest janitor is a resident of Villamor Air Base in Pasay City. According to Valentin, he never thought of keeping the wallet for he knows that the money will be use in something useful by the owner.

The owner, Jerome, thanked the honest janitor for a rare chance of getting back his hard-earned money.
