Senatorial Candidates 2013 Pulse Asia Survey Results (Jan. 2013)

Re-electionist senators Loren Legarda, Chiz Escudero and Alan Cayetano made it to the top three Senators in the latest Pulse Asia Survey conducted from January 19 t0 30, 2013.

The surprise entrants to the latest Pulse Asia Survey is the Top 4 senatorial candidate, Nancy Binay, the daughter of Vice-President Jejomar Binay.

Nancy Binay is tied for 4th-9th place in San Juan City Rep. JV Ejercito Estrada who 43.5%. The top three candidates, Senators Legarda (58%), Chiz Escudero (54.3%) and Alan Peter Cayetano (48.9%) continued to dominate the race.

Ranked 4th-12th are Senator Antonio Trillane IV (41.1%), Senator Koko Pimentel (40.7%), Cagayan Rep. Juan Ponce Enrile, Jr. (40.4%), and former Las Piñas Representative Cynthia Villar (39.1%).

Other candidates who made it to the “Magic 12”  and shared 6th t0 12th spot were former Senator Migz Zubiri (37.6%) and Aurora Rep. Sonny Angara (37.1%) and Senator Gringo Honasan (36.8%).

The Pulse Asia Survey has a sample of 1,800 registered voters 18 years old and above. The nationwide survey has a ± 2% error margin at the 95% confidence level.
