2013 Philippine National Holidays List Released

Malacañang Palace has announced earlier the list of Philippine National Holidays for the year 2013 through Proclamation No. 459, s. 2012 signed by the President of the Philippines Benigno s. Aquino III declaring regular holidays, special non-working holidays and special holidays for schools.

According to the list of 2013 holidays, Filipinos will be expecting at least 4 long weekeends this year based upon the official holidays. The observance of our Muslim brothers Eid’l Fitr and Eid-ul Adha will be determine later based with the Islamic calendar (Hijira) or the lunar calendar based on Islamic astronomical calculations.

  • EDSA Revolution Anniversary – February 25 (Monday)
Long Weekends 
  • March 28-31, 2013 – Holy Week
  • August 24-26, 2013 – National Heroes Day
  • November 1-3, 2013 – All Saints’ Day
  • December 28, 2013 – January 1, 2014  – Rizal Day and New Year’s Day
