Ruben Kebeng: Pinoy Truck Driver Suspect on Riyadh Blast

The Philippine Emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y in Riyadh through Amb(–foul word(s) removed–)ador Ezedin Tago have already confirmed that the driver of the Tanker Truck was a Filipino named as Robin (Ruben) Kebeng. The Riyadh blasts caused enormous distractions in the Kingdom which took the life of 22 people.

The suspect Filipino driver Ruben Kebeng is currently being held by Saudi authorities and the Philippine government were not allowed to talk to him while the case is still undergoing investigation.

The Riyadh blast left more than 100 people injured and caused a damage of an estimated P3.3 Billion in damage. According to a Reuters report quoting Saudi civil defense official Captain Mohamed Hubail Hammadi.

The captain stated that the “blast occurred when the fuel truck crashed into a flyover, triggering an explosion that brought down an industrial building and torched nearby vehicles.” Capt. Hammadi stated.

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) chief Carmelita Dimzon confirmed also that the Saudi government is shouldering the expenses of all Filipinos who died and were injured in the blast.

One of the Filipino unlucky victim was Florentino Santiago, the Philippine emb(–foul word(s) removed–)y are now doing their best to bring home the body of the Filipino during the Riyadh blast.

Meanwhile think of the millions of OFWs and Filipinos back home who were shocked by this unfortunate event and believed it was not of your own making.
