Robinson’s Snake Legend Surfaced (Video)

The alleged and most popular urban legend about the mutant snake inside Robinson’s Mall goes viral once again although it was posted two years ago. The video which was unverified have already garnered a total of more than 438,000 since it was posted, the video was even titled with “Robinson’s snake is dead.”

The famous Urban legend which involved one of the most successful conglomerate in the country have been denied by Robinsons Corporations for the past few years.

After news surfaced that the company will open more Robinsons Malls in the coming months aside from the scheduled opening of Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) with a new supermarket in Eastwood City on Thursday.

The famous legends of the Robinson snake have several versions, some of them stated that the snake was supposedly Robinson’s tycoon John Gokongwei’s son and twin brother of Robina Gokongwei-Pe.

The other version was the snake was a female and laid golden eggs which was the source of the Gokongwei family’s wealth. One version also stated that the family kept a giant snake in the mall to ensure prosperity, and women in dressing rooms would be chosen for the reptile to eat.

One of the most popular version of the rumor involved actress Alice Dixson who was among the snake’s almost-victims, but was allegedly paid a considerable amount to keep her silence.

The daughter of John Gokongwei, Robina Gokongwei-Pe denied the allegations of the Robinsons Snake and during her speech in 2008 at the University of the Philippines’ School of Economics.
