Julio Villafuerte Tweets Against Robredo Sparked Online Outrage

For the past few days Jesse Robredo’s acknowledgement of his momentous achievement in the political scene of the Philippines have been the hot topics on the internet and almost all Filipinos were united on giving tribute to the former DILG Secretary.

The City of Naga and almost all parts of the Bicol Region were mourning the untimely demise of a rare and honorable leader but there are some personalities who were unaware of the former Secretary’s achievement although they came from the same Region. The person who was unaware of Robredo’s achievement was a member of the prominent Villafuerte Clan, none other than Julio Villafuerte.

Julio Villafuerte was the son of the current provincial leader of Camarines Sur, Governor Luis Ray Villafuerte and the grandson of Representative Luis Villafuerte. He got into hot water as the the netizens were outraged with his tweets inquiring the achievements of Secretary Jesse Robredo.

The tweet posted by Julio Villafuerte became a hot topics on the internet right after it was posted on the micro-blogging site. Those people who have learned and reposted the tweet were outraged with the kind of tweet posted by one of the respected members from the Villafuerte Clan.

Although the tweet have been deleted already Julio Villafuerte apologized for what he has done, the damaged has been done already and he already got the attentions of the grieving Filipinos and not only the Bicolanos.
