Teachers Licensure Examination March 2012 Top 10

The Professional Regulations Commission in coordination with the Board of Professional Teachers released the names of successful examinees who got the highest percentage on examination results.

The Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) for Elementary and Secondary level culminated on March 11, 2012, Sunday which kicked off with filing of forms for the teacher’s board examination at exactly 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

The board exam for teachers composed of two main categories: General Education and Professional Education which last from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On the other hand, for secondary teachers, another set of exam was given, the Specialization, which approximately run from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the same day.

With a total of 32,798 examinees  for elementary teachers, at least 13,925  p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the examination which is equivalent to 42.46%. While on secondary level, 7,149 secondary teachers out of 28,764 examinees (24.85%) and out of 305 examinees only  56 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the teachers board examination across the 12 testing centers nationwide.

Meanwhile, out of thousands of examiness flock on the teachers board examination for elementary level, RICHIE CARLA ALMAGRO VESAGAS from University of the Philippines-Diliman topped the exam with 87.40, followed by SHERRYL LYN PULIDO ECOBISAG still from  University of the Philippines-Diliman with 87.00 and on the third spot is  Maria C FRANCISCO DIAZ from University of the Cordilleras (FOR.BAGUIO C.F.) with 86.80.

On secondary level, ALEXIS CORONACION VILLAFLOR from University of the Philippines-Diliman with 87.60 topped the exam, followed by a tie from JEFFREY DELPOSO MAGTIBAY of UP-Los Baños with 87.40 and MARIE JOE PESEBRE PAGADUAN still from UP-Diliman and on the third rank is BARRY JOHN ORTONIO BELEN from University of St. La Salle with  86.60
