His experienced were recalled during an interview with David Letterman in an episode aired last March 1, 2012 on The Late Night Show with David Letterman.
The Wolverine co-star actor Taylor Kitsch was being warned by an immigration officers to get back to Japan upon learning that there is no space for the stamp needed on his p(–foul word(s) removed–)port. Taylor did his best to convince the immigration officer but at first he failed to convince the officer.
There was even an instance wherein he was told by the immigration officer if he has an extra iPhone for his easier p(–foul word(s) removed–)age. Finally the officer was convinced after he showed the movie clip of John Carter and he was cleared at NAIA.
