Here comes PumPing Tap, with the idea of electrical sockets. It has a spring that immediately unplugs inactive electronic devices. Yahoo introduced this device on January 4 describing that PumPing Tap’s socket includes sensors that detects whether a device is in active mode or not.
Its external light turns to blue color if it consumes an electrical power. The PumPing Tap turns red however when it does not draw electricity.
Detecting inactive gadgets are easy using the PumPing Tap because after 10 short minutes of detecting the inactivity, the specially designed spring that was built-in on the said device surely pops-up in order to unplug. According to the designer, the built-in spring feature was said to be similar as that of a toaster.
This can be a solution for those who wanted to help save the energy in this modern day.
The news stated that PumPing Tap was known to be among of the winning entries for the Red Dot design contest.
The world should make way for balance as technology expands. While the supply of electronic gadgets hastily grow, it is good that people continue to honor innovations for controlling energy consumption.
