The divorce settlement of Mel Gibson to his former wife was considered as Hollywood’s biggest-ever divorce deal. It costs the Brave Heart actor half of his $850 Million fortune at around $425 Million US dollars, an approximately 271 Million Pound.

Robyn More the former wife of Mel Gibson will be awarded half of Gibson’s fortune after the final settlement of the case. Their marriage had lasted for 3o years. The couple had seven children.

The former wife of Mel Gibson, Robyn filed the divorced on April 2009 citing irreconcilable differences as the main grounds for the case. The couple had spent the last two and a half years ironing the divorce papers since the couple had no pre-nuptial agreement.

The Lethal Weapon actor split with Robyn since the year 2009 after he admitted that he had a child with  Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva. Their child was born last October 30, 2009 but their relationship didn’t work as well and continues to battle for a legal custody their their child Lucia.

Robyn reverted her maiden name to More after he filed the divorced paper. Court papers stated also that the couples had made private arrangements for the support of their only minor son, Thomas.

The Hollywood’s costliest divorces breaks all highest divorce pay-outs. Steven Spielberg divorce settlement with his wife Amy Irving in 1989 costs him $100 Million while Neil Diamond’s divorce with Marcia Murphy costs 95 Million pound.
