Angeline Jolie: "Very Lucky, I Didn't Die Young"

Angelina Jolie, who has been cited as the ‘world’s most beautiful’ woman said she’s ‘very lucky that she didn’t die young’ in an interview she took with 60 Minutes.

Why did she say so?

Jolie,who is an award-winning actress and was noted for humanitarian cause says that the wild child part of her persona isn’t completely gone.

As far as we can remember, long before she became Brad Pitt’s wife and a mother of six, Jolie wore a vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood when they were married and who shared a strangely intimate kiss with her brother at the 2000 Academy Awards.

The Oscar winner has before lived her life on the edge. In the said interview, Jolie said that she “went through heavy darker times and survived them. “I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things,” she added.

When correspondent Bob Simon asked for more details on what she meant, Jolie says, “I was hoping you missed that. Nothing I want to go into a lot detail about, but I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous, and I did the worse and admit for many reasons, I shouldn’t be here. You just think there were too many times where you came too close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too, too far.”

“I’m still a bad girl,” Jolie defends. “I still have that side of me. It’s just in its place now. It belongs to Brad.”

That’s how Jolie perceives herself, and it’s unusual in a sense, but for me, her bad girl’s better knowing that she’s more stronger than anyone can think of!
