Ricky Hatton, also known as the “The Hitman” who retires just this year believes that Amir “King” Khan his fellow British citizen will give the no-loss American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr a dilemma.

In an interview, Hatton told the Telegraph Sports that Khan has this unique style which can eventually give Mayweather a problem that he apparently had never encountered inside the boxing arena.

In addition, he said that he is not claiming that Khan will surely win but he attests that Khan could give Mayweather a surprising good fight. Also, Khan may have the chance to uplift his name in the boxing field.

Khan is believed to have improved better after his first defeat last 2008. That event was said to be his first ever loss in his career.

Hatton is amazed of how much Khan had given himself the chance to reach the peak in the boxing world. Added to that, Khan is now one of the alarming boxers.

According to interviews with Amir “King” Khan, he never hid his intent to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. He was being consistent in the interviews he had.

In December 2007, Mayweather was able to beat Hatton in the tenth round of the fight. It was the first time that Hatton was defeated as they vied for the welterweight title. But then, the “Hitman” was able to give the undefeated Mayweather Jr a problem in the earlier rounds.

Hatton faced the Pound for Pound boxer Manny Pacquiao last May 2009 where he only stood for 2 rounds. The fight brought him the second loss of his career.

Now rumours spread for a new bout for the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. with Amir “King” Khan as the contender. Thus, these two need to meet inside the ring.
