Cowell talks about Cole’s exit on X Factor

cowell“It wasn’t really such a big deal as everybody thought. … Truth is you’ve got to move on. It’s about the contestants. They’ve got no interest in us bickering,” – Simon Cowell

British popstar Cheryl Cole as she exit from The X Factor (U.S Version) had left the audience with questions in their minds. And days were waited until concerned parties had started talking about it including Simon Cowell and Fox.

After all the rumours, it is now official that replacing Cole in the judging panel is the supposed to be show’s co-host, former pussycat dolls member Nicole Scherzinger together with Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and L.A Reid.

There were already episodes which were taped for the show which includes Cole in the judging table. But during the auditions taping before the live audience for the show, when Cowell was asked if they were going to tape again those episode, the later made a direct answer, it was a ‘no’.

According to Cowell, the show is considered to be a reality show, so he finds no reason of retaping those episodes. In fact, he added that there was nothing wrong with the episodes with Cole and what’s the point of taping it again. Is it for the purpose of hiding the truth?

Furthermore, when it comes to Nicole as the replacement for Cole, Simon said that he was able to work with the singer before and he considered her potential to fit with her new (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment.

To recall, some of the reasons pointed on the rumours for the reason why Cole had to exit the said show was due to her strong accent which some thinks not good for American audience as well as conflict with Cowell.

The X Factor (U.S Version) is a comeback show for American audience for Cowell after leaving American Idol on May 2010.

Quoted, Cowell said that being out from American audience had brought positive things to him for it made him realized how much he missed to be with his fellowmen.
