Manila, PHILIPPINES – Filipino fans are now marking the date, June 17,2011 for this is the time that the ever popular and well-loved Disney Character, “Hannah Montana”, Miley Cyrus herself will rock Manila.
Her stop in the Philippines is part of her “Gypsy Heart Tour”. To recall, her official tour had its kick-off at Quito, Equador on the 29th of April.
Bringing Miley in the Philippines are the Futuretainment Manila, Music Management International and MCA.
Filipinos are fortunate enough for in Asia, the Philippines is the only Asian country whom she will be having a concert. It is not obvious that Miley, since her Disney days as Hannah Montana had already captured the hearts of her Filipino followers. In fact, her Filipino fans are now creating fan page in various social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter in order to support her concert in Manila.
Taken from the official website of Miley, she said that her Gypsy Heart tour is her way of spreading love to the people. She also said that this concert is a dream come true not only because she will be meeting beautiful people and she will be going to many beautiful cities but the very main cause is the first reason mentioned.
It was Music Management International and MCA who made the confirmation and announcement of the said concert. Just like the previous concerts of other big international performers, Miley will also perform at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.
She gained her popularity not just only because she is Hannah Montana, but also because she is a singer, a songwriter and a great performer.
She had proven her ability in this field in the release of her album in 2008 with a tile, “Breakout”, and for that album, she had co-written eight songs.
Some of her popular hits are “The Climb”, ”Party in the U.S.A.” and “Who owns my Heart” to name a few. What had boosted her career also is her lead role when she played Hannah Montana –The Movie. And she also starred in the 2010 film “The Last Song.”
Miley had gone a long way in her career and in fact this Gypsy Tour is also her way of promoting her more mature album “Can’t be tamed.”
