Farmville is one of the most popular social media games on Facebook with over 46 million members worldwide. Lady Gaga will be using the popular Facebook Game to released songs from her new Album Born this way. Her song will be due out on May 23.
Singles from Lady Gaga’s Album can be heard only after completing a task. Every completed task will allow the player to hear one exclusive new track per day streamed online from May 17-19. Additional songs that are not exclusive can also be unlock starting May 20, 2011.
According to Zynga, creator of Farmville, Gagaville will be short lived. The special will run only until May 26 to celebrate the debut album Born this Way. Gaga inspired items such as magical unicorns, sheep on motorcycles will be feature in Farmville as well.
Lady Gaga’s single Born This Way debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts will be one of the featured songs in Gagaville.
According to an article posted by The New York Times Zynga has entered into partnership with Lady Gaga that will give access to Lady Gaga’s songs while playing some time-killing Facebook games.
In a press released Lady Gaga was quoted as saying “I want to celebrate and share ‘Born This Way’ with my little monsters in a special way that’s never been done before,” Gaga stated via press release. “Zynga has created a magical place in ‘FarmVille’ where my fans can come play, and be the first to listen to the album.”
Farmville is a social game in facebook that let players tends to virtual farms by harvesting crops, tending to livestock and decorating cottages to earned points.
Clear Channel Radio will stream the songs in Farmville through iHeartRadio Service, which is an interactive media social networking platform outlet.
