Kenny Bayless admitted wrong knockdown call during interview

One of the unforgettable scenes during the Pacquio vs. Mosley fight is the controversial mistaken knockdown call of the official referee Kenny Bayless in the 10th round.

In an exclusive interview, Bayles admitted his mistake when he counts for Pacquiao.

Referee Bayles said, “Well, I thought it was a knockdown, and the way Manny got up, I thought his body motion, I thought it was a knockdown, and when I started counting that’s when he started the protest but I still follow it as knockdown.”

During the replay it was clear that the call was mistaken, Bayles said.

“When I saw the replay and slow down I could see that he was more pushed than a hit,” he said.

Pacquiao admitted also that he angered the wrong call of Bayles.

“I’m surprised, you know… You know, I’m angry,” Pacquiao said during the conference after the fight.

Meanwhile, Mosley was advised some of the famous boxers to retire.

Cesar Chavez Jr. said, “Because (Mosley) don’t throw punches, he don’t fight now, he is old.”

“During the last two fights of Mosley, he doesn’t look good,” said Juan Manuel Marquez.

Marquez is excited to face again versus Pacquio.

“Everyone knows I want to fight again with Manny…  I will speak next week,” said Marquez.

Teddy Atlas trainer of Mike Tayson was not satisfied in the fight of Mosley vs. Pacquiao.

“It wasn’t one of the most exciting fights in the world,” he said.

There are many disappointed in the fight. But without controversy great honor for Filipinos to have another championship victory.
