Five Manila Police showed up after the ransom allegation

The Five Manila Police who were alleged of the disappearance of 12 million ransom money already showed up in the public after the shoot-to-kill order given by Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim.

Together with their hired lawyer, the five members of MPD station 5 went to the city hall and met Mayor Lim. They have denied the accusation that they took the 12 million peso ransom money of Malaysian trader paid to the kidnappers.

After the walk out scene by the Five Manila Police last Friday in an ongoing hearing session and for not showing up on the succeeding inquiry. The police said that they are now willing to face the investigation to clear out their names.

Absent Without Official leave (AWOL) were filed against the five police after not attending the continuing investigation.

Senior Inspector Peter Nerviza, one of the five MPD police accused said that they did ask a permission to leave in the General (–foul word(s) removed–)ignment Section which is in charge of the inquiry.

Malaysian Trader Eric Sim Chin was kidnapped last March 6 by the group of Lopera. According to him, he paid 16 Million ransom money in exchange for his freedom.

After the follow up operation of the station 5 Manila police headed by Supt. Felipe Cazon Jr. The group of Lopera was arrested and the ransom money was recovered but only 4.2 million were reported back to the station.

Along with senior Inspector Peter Nerviza, the four other police involved in the said false accusation also expressed their willingness to cooperate in the investigation.

Last Monday, a conference was held were mayor Lim said that according to the suspects; they saw the five police taking some of the ransom money while they are being arrested.

Nerviza strongly denied the accusation and said that Lopera is lying.

Mayor Lim said that what is important now is to recover the money whether it is the hand of kidnappers or it is with the police.
